 The Campsite is situated near Barrow Beck and is three miles
from Keswick.The lower building is called the Bark House, and Ashness Hut is 200 yds up the fellside, and over looks a fine view Derwent water and Bassenthwaite.  The campsite provides level site suitable for several tents.The Hut can accommodate 12 people & provides bunks, tables, cooker and sink unit. (There is no running water) A Chemical toilet is outside the Hut.  The site provides an ideal opportunity for swimming, boating, canoeing,
walking and orienteering.Gas Cylinders can be exchanged at the Warden's House, although provisions must be bought from Keswick. Tariff £25.00 per night |
